How to give password your Excel files in MS office 2007

 when you use computer at home, public or in company & you want to protect them from unauthorized person .I will show you how to secured your excel files with password.


  • Open your excel file.
  • Click on save as.

  • You can see a window Just click on tools which is bottom left corner
    Click for zoom
  • select General option,type password to open
  • Confirm same password again
  • now save your file,Click on yes if overwrite window appeared.
Now open & check your new password protected excel file.
This trick you can apply your word & other Microsoft office files.
